There were a couple of fighters who got major attention at the UFC Fan Expo in Las Vegas. Ok, I felt like I had been waiting and waiting entirely too long for this card to show up in Jersey and all I can say is, eh. We missed Thiago Alves, that is for sure, besides Shance Carwin's cinder blocks the card was lacking that explosive striker that energizes a live crowd. This week saw some interesting developments in the world of MMA. The UFC dropped some big news with the signing of 41 year old James "Lights Out" Toney. February 26th some great new professionals to the game of MMA made their way to Atlantic City to show off their skills in front of a great local crowd at Resorts Casino. Even though the crowd was the local Jersey crowd wearing their gym tees, the fighters came from Granite City, Il., Denver, CO., and Gracie Barra in New Hampshire as well as the big time gyms like Fight Factory in Philly.
