I truly believe everyone has obstacles in our lives that put a (temporary) halt to our plans. No matter what you think of your problem, it is imperative you take it as seriously as possible. Your obstacle may seem trivial to others while being enormous in your eyes but that doesn't mean you should feel your problem isn't worth all your effort. Whether they are small or large compared to others is irrelevant because we are all unique with unique situations. Do not lose sight of your plans,...

I couldn't resist throwing my own old joke in there, this is incredible that these guys are still in shape enough to fight. Besides having the mother of all 11 minute workouts Randy Couture will have a victory over Mark Coleman via Ground n Pound in the 2nd round to earn the TKO victory. In the night's co-main event Nate Marquardt will earn a tough decision win over Chael Sonnen. This fight could be the dud of the evening thanks to Sonnen's style but i don't see him bringing anything that ...

The summer of 2005 was very nice in the Delaware Valley. Unfortunately for me I didn't get to enjoy it very much. July 4th weekend was a busy weekend in Philadelphia Live Aid 05 going on all over the world and I had plans on catching the show before heading down to the Shore to hang out with Snooki, kidding. I don't go to that part of the Shore. As the summer went on I had periodic bouts of  stomach illness, but I always had got better. Fast forward to Labor day weekend 05. Two months had pa...

What did New Jersey do to deserve this? Did Chris Christie make a pact with the devil? Did the douchebags from the Jersey Shore make Zuffa feel bad for the rest of us?  or was it the last main event in that building was Kimbo v. James Thompson's Ear that got Zuffa to feel for us?  Is it just a case of timing that we are probably getting TWO title fights on the same card? Oh wait a minute , I got it. Newark, NJ is a stones throw from the capital of the world, New York City. A city with the worl...

Remember what a crazy month it was for MMA in November, in case you forgot what you witnessed or should have, here you go...Challenger Series, Strikeforce on CBS, WVR’s best card, UFC 105, WEC 44, another Challenger Series on Showtime and finally UFC 106. The month started out with BJJ whiz J. Gurgel losing a stand up battle to B. Evangelista in the main event of Strikeforce Challengers Series, which is a great way to give up and coming fighters a chance to be on Showtime. However, the li...

A real quick recap. A Challenger Series, Strikeforce on CBS, WVR's best card, UFC 105, WEC 44, another Challenger Series on Showtime and finally UFC 106. Enough MMA for all you addicts out there? There can never be enough Mixed Martial Arts if you ask me. However, alot of the headlines that came out of November had to do with action outside of  the cage. Let's recap. After learning the Heavyweight Champ Brock Lesnar would not defend his title against Shane Carwin as expected at UFC 106 a...
